I love a pretty pantry, but even more than that, I love a pantry that actually works. These are the four pantry systems I use over and over again because they can be applied to almost any pantry: clear containers, drawers, labels, and can rotating systems. They make everything easier to find, easier to restock, and so much more satisfying to look at.


  1. Clear Containers

Clear containers are one of my favorite pantry systems because they instantly make shelves feel more cohesive. I know some people worry that clear containers will make things look more cluttered because you can see inside, but I actually think the opposite is true.   1. Drawers

Drawers are perfect for corralling smaller pantry items that usually get lost on shelves. I love using them for snacks, packets, baking items, bars, and kid-friendly grab-and-go foods. Can rotating systems are one of those simple upgrades that make a huge difference. Instead of cans getting stacked, buried, or forgotten, everything rolls forward and stays easy to see. This is especially helpful for larger families, food storage, soups, fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples. THIS is my tried and true, go-to can rotating system.


The best part about these pantry systems is that they work in almost any size pantry. You don’t need a huge walk-in pantry to make your space feel organized. A few simple systems can make your pantry easier to use, easier to maintain, and so much prettier to look at.
